Trade One:
Greg Monroe + Stuckey for Al Horford
Why we do it? Horford has established himself as an all-star big in this league, but he's injured for this year and Atlanta has still been playing solid without him... They're making a playoff push and could use Monroe this year.
Horford(who grew up in Michigan and liked it here) has a reasonable contract for a player of his caliber so we'll actually end up with more capspace this upcoming summer than we would have if we tried to resign Monroe. Also, this trade allows us to shift Smith back to PF to hopefully up his trade value.
7th or 8th pick + 2014 cap space + a healthy returning Al Horford next year could give us something to be excited about.

1) They would need to throw in a pick, at least
2) I like Horford, but acquiring him would mean we would need to trade Smith away too
Long-term:
Jennings
KCP
* SF-to-be-determined *
Horford
Drummond

I mean if they we do Horford for Monroe + CV that would be our better option... I'm not really sure that they would do that though. Monroe simply isn't as good as a healthy Horford. Plus he's probably going to be paid more next summer.

Why? The Hawks looked pretty solid in the playoffs with Horford/Smith/Petro, I imagine replacing Petro with Drummond would have a big impact.
Horford can knock down an occasional 3, Monroe has never attempted one in a game.

Horford is a much better jump shooter than any of our bigs... He can hit from 12 to 18 feet and great a little space inside.

Any Monroe trade where Smith is still projected to be our starting SF should be DOA

Smith would be at PF for the remainder of the year which would give us time to evaluate what he can do there next to Drummond.
The idea of this trade was to tank down to us getting our pick back... by giving up two of our best players(Who are both FAs) for an injured all-star big.
The idea of this trade wasn't to fix our team this year for a playoff run... Which is why plenty people here probably won't like it.

I would do it in a heartbeat if we could somehow get Korver as well. Smith and Horford have chemistry playing together and as long as we stagger our bigs we could be pretty decent
