This disaster will go down in NBA history as one of the biggest mismanagements of assets in NBA history

All we had to do was throw big money at a SF that can shoot the ball

Instead we give up a 1st round pick to go after Josh Smith who SUCKS at the 3

As bad as the Pistons are, they aren't as messed up as the Cavs. Gilbert is a bozo.

I still can't believe Joe didn't go all out after Lionel Hollins. Hollins was tailor made to coach this team. His Memphis squad was built around 2 talented bigs, a young PG he helped develop, a defensive focus and won despite crap perimeter shooting. Instead we hire a clueless retread like Cheeks and eventually offer Hollins an assistant coach position. It's a **** joke.

If there are no deadline deals it could mean that Joe's getting the Karen Davidson treatment... lame duck until his contract runs out... then he can leave in the summer without public shame.

It's for the best, It's boring but I know we will regret any moves Dumars makes. Dumars is now in desperation mode which is going to really hurt our future with one more stupid move. We don't need to panic yet because we still have the youngest starting 5 and aren't that bad as far as capspace. Best to just ride out the season until we can get someone new in here and I think Gores is starting to see this and probably more occupied right now with looking for his replacement. It's a wasted season fellas.

Well, that's like saying at least this burning pile of garbage isn't on our face.

The Cavs have hit a new low, but people wildly over estimated Irving as a superstar. Andrew Bynum was still going to be the massive dick that Bynum is. And, I don't understand how we live in a world where millionaires and "experts" still believe Mike Brown can coach a basketball team....I suppose I could make that same statement about Mo Cheeks.

Lebron could make Mo Cheeks look like a Coach of the Year.

I'm quite disappointed Joe didn't go first.

I wish Joe would be let go this week so a new GM could come in and handle the trade deadline. I wonder how many losses in a row will be needed for Joe or Cheeks to be gone?

Brian Windhurst was just on the radio speculating that he could see a possible match between Cleveland and Dumars. He said Gilbert actually lives next door to Dumars.

One could reasonably conclude that our dear Joe Dumars has been sabotaging the pistons :o

Eyeing the Cavs job for years, Joe knew the only way he could leave Detroit would be to spend years making horrible, short sighted, laughable basketball operations decisions. He had to be so incredibly inept that he would be forced out of his job, be looked at as the victim, and comfortably ascend to his dream job in the beautiful city of Cleveland.

Well played Joe, well played.
