I think he should start next to Drummond.

He is that good, and does exactly what we need from him, and given enough playtime, I think he can become really damn good.

I am done with Monroe, who plays terrible defense, and cant hit a shot outside of 5feet. I honestly cant figure out how with his hard nosed defense, teamplay, and excellent shooting, Jorts doesn't get a shot at it, seeing as how the team is a trainwreck without an identity.

I could care less who's contract year it is, when you have a player showing hes capapble, you go for it.

Smith should come off the bench as the first sub.

There is so much wrong with this I don't even know where to begin.

Is this what the Pistons fanbase has been reduced to? Thinking Josh Harrellson is an NBA-level starter? Thinking that he's BETTER than Greg Monroe?

This is my train of thought. Moose does not fit next to Drummond. One of the two has to be moved, or play off the bench. I see nothing wrong with Josh as an NBA starter. He does everything well. Unless he has glaring holes in his game I havnt seen.

You've gone on the record saying you didn't watch much of Detroit basketball over the past3 years. I'm not sure how you can come to a conclusion using the small sample of this year, playing with a chucker in Josh Smith.

I have to echo CGC's sentiment here.

Even if you've only viewed a handful of games this year the odds would be astronomically slim that you wouldn't see glaring holes in his game -- at every facet. I really enjoy your posts Zeebneeb but I think you're off the mark on this one.

I think even the most ardent of Smith supporters grudgingly accept the fact that he's deficient w/regards to outside shooting. That's the most obvious one.
