Honestly, I'd hope he's not delusional enough to believe that he deserved to be an all star.

He thought he was rookie of the year then thought he was an all star the last two season which arguably weren't as good as his current one. There's no doubt he thinks he should be there it's just a matter of how well he takes it.

I have no problems with Jennings..

Josh Smith is a cancer.

Agree. Jennings may need some work (wasn't a Billups-Cheeks combo suppose to make him a wise PG?) but Smith just doesn't fit. If we were a running team, Smith would be a great PF to have. But we don't. If he's not willing to shoot within his range, he needs to be moved.

This season is no surprise to me , the two players I didn't want too sign was Josh Smith and Branden Jennings . The clock is ticking Joe, you can't fire another coach, this time there's nowhere to hide .

And Josh Smith is on pace to have the worst 3PT FG% for a season in the NBA...ever.

That's right--EVER (with some minimum number of attempts, obviously; don't remember what that number was).

I hated both signings and said so; Josh Smith was going to be a chucker and we knew it, and while Brandon Jennings puts together some nice games, I absolutely hate the way he plays. He generates strictly on talent and has garbage fundamentals. It's like Charlie V and Ben Gordon all over again. Joe had money to spend, went to market, and f***ed it all to hell.

That's why a horrible finish to the season is good. It blows out Joe, it gets rid of Mo (who has pretty much sucked), and it keeps the first round pick. This organization needs a clean slate.

He won't be making that draft pick. He'll be fishing down in Louisiana while he looks for another job.

As some of you guys know I'm a Bobcats fan.

I think you guys will be fine, you may not make the playoffs and have to give us your pick, but you are young and have great potential.

Drummond alone is a reason to be optimistic, Monroe is one of the most slept on players in this league and KCP looks like he has all the tools to be a starter caliber jack of all trades.

Ujiri proved that their is always someone to take advantage of with the Gay trade, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of shipping both Jennings and Smith in the offseason, so cheer up!

Best of luck.

Just messing with you. Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully you guys can stay in the hunt for the 8 seed if only to improve our top 8 pick odds.

Sixers fan here, not trying to troll, but seriously Mo Cheeks?

He was a brutal coach, wasn't great in Portland, even worse in Philly.
How does he keep getting jobs?

I think one of the most frustrating things about being a fan is feeling like you are smarter than the people actually running the team. I don't think many people were on board with the Cheeks hiring from day one. Joe has shown overwhelming loyalty to "his guys" in his decision making (ie the Jerebko contract). Cheeks looks like a case of Joe giving one of his buddies another shot at the head coach while he still can make those decisions.

Frustrating?

Anybody that remotely follows basketball can see that EVERY possession we should be force feeding Drummond in the post. If he gets 10 TO a game so be it, this is the time for him to learn and get acclimated to the game.

Instead we have Josh Smith and Jennings taking 99% of all shots with Stuckey + Trash Bag Company taking the rest

Drummond is bolting as soon as he gets a chance. He saw how poorly we built around Monroe and sees how it is happening again.

If Drummond ONLY had 10 TO per game, it would still be substantially less than Jennings and Smith's combined turnovers.

We were never a good organization for developing young players. We instead let them rot in favor of retread vets. This process started all the way back even when we had Tayshaun, Amir, Afflalo, and even Okur and Delfino to an extent.

We missed a golden opportunity this year. We should have given BIG money to Korver to launch 3's (off the bench or starter) and filled the roster with cheap deals and waited till the next year.

Instead Joe Dumars fighting for his life and Gores fighting for irrelevancy and a playoff spot **** our whole future up. This was a wasted season for Drummond completely. He has been putting up legendary numbers for basically a rookie since he only has really played 110 total games in his career. It's disgusting and we will look back on this season years from now as one of the reasons Andre chose to leave Detroit.

What's his motivation for staying? The organization should be catering his needs not to the needs of trash like Smith. Just like they didnt do for Darko, there is no professional big man coach for Drummond. Instead we get that lazy SOB Sheed. I have no problem with him on the payroll but at least hire 1-2 quality big man coaches instead of letting ours go.

I can only pray we get lucky to sneak into the 8th spot and move up by some miracle. Problem is with teams like Bulls and Lakers that will never happen. They will move up just like they did for Rose magically and just like Cleveland somehow managed to get two #1 picks in 4 years not to mention two top 5 picks in the same year.

People say Cavs are worst off then us in reality not really. Thompson is almost equal to Drummond. Kyrie >>>> Jennings even if Irving is severely overrated. Waiters >>> KCP. All we have is Drummond over the Cavs and even so we are completely misusing him.

Then when i make a petition to fire dumars i only get 7 people to sign it. I wish we could organize a protest and get some media coverage lol

So the pics on the Pistons Facebook page of Dre and Sheed working together on court and playing one-on-one before almost every game are just photoshopped then?
