Yeah, we need to clear up some space and make a run at Stephenson, or if Houston declines Parsons option, we need to look at him. Overpaying for wings like Ariza and Deng, that are closing in on 30, is an easy pass for me.


Why in the world would Houston decline Parsons option?


To make him a restricted free agent this off-season, instead of an unrestricted free agent next off-season.

They aren't going to let him get away, if someone goes crazy and offers him the max then I guess it's a possibility but he's clearly not worth that kind of money to anybody and I just don't see it happening. Houston ownership seems to have plenty of money to throw around.
