Bucks to sign Tony Mitchell to 10 day contract

Post#1 » by Invictus88 » Tue Mar 4, 2014 12:47 am

This is one of the wiretap headlines.

Don't the Pistons still own the rights to this guy or am I wrong?

That's the other guy who's been doing pretty decent at the mad ants. What are the chances?

Wonder if they played together with the Ants... a lob from TM to TM.

They did. The other TM actually looks like he might be the better player too.

Yeah, the other (Alabama) TM put up much better stats than our TM did with the Mad Ants....

It would be kind of funny if Silver made a rule where you could sign a player from another team but for only 10 games. Just think if we had Kevin Durant on a 10 day contract just long enough to push us into the playoffs.

This is another thing that has gotten on my nerves,we at least got the chance to see siva play more than a couple of minutes,he actually got to start and play some meaningful minutes.I really want to see mitchell get the same kind of minutes siva did (and yes I know siva got those minutes because billups was out) and get a good look at him.Hopefuly if we go into tank mode he will get the chance to play more than garbadge minutes.

We really are so bad at developing are youth. If Dre would have been as raw as people were saying pre draft he never would have had a chance with us.

Thanks for the clarification everyone. I thought something didn't add up :)

I also agree that there's no reason not to start playing some of the young guys like Siva and Mitchell now to see what they bring to the table. Hopefully we'll start seeing that soon?

1st things 1st I questioned how the Bucks got Tony Mitchell.
Secondly, I hope to god that the next GM (Not isiah) tells Tom Gores the Pistons need their own DLeague franchise in Grand Rapids. Would help with marketing, would help with player development.

I realize that has little to do with the topic, but I think it needs to happen.

I think all teams need their own D League affiliate. It gets rather confusing.
