Would you bring Stuckey back at the right price?

Yes, he's still a useful player for the right contract.

I agree that you build a winner with good contracts...to a point.

Stuckey has an interesting skill set but at $5 mil per, even for 3 years I don't believe we'd get value out of him.

It's probably what he's "worth", which means a team in our situation should probably avoid him.

Why spend $5 mil on a guy who really won't move the needle? He's not a great locker room guy, not a highly respected player around the league, nothing about him is special.

So spend that $5 mil elsewhere

I feel the same way unless we can get rid of Jennings. Right now I'm thinking we replace BJ in the starting lineup this summer but moving him is unlikely so he's probably our 6th man.

I'd rather sign Jimmer Fredette & Jodie Meeks for half the money it would take to resign Stuckey.

Meeks will likely get just as much if not more than Stuckey this summer.

Nope,
should let him go instead of Afflalo to Denver back in 2009
Way to inconsistent

If stuckey was engaged and uninjured for 82 games, then I'd be all for bringing him back on a reasonable deal. As is? No deal is reasonable. He's only effective when you put the ball in his hands as a high utilization player. It's just too disruptive to have a high utilization guy in and out of the lineup and continually fighting various injuries.

Need to get away from high volume shooters that are inconsistent.
