Obviously, everyone would be in favor of an upgrade, but what makes anyone think we could just go out and get a great PG? The best true FA pg is Lowry and he's got "contract year" written all over him. Our best bet is to bring in a defensive minded back pg to push Jennings.

It's really frustrating we gave up Knight in the Jennings deal. I think Milwaukee would have done the deal without Knight involved, they clearly weren't going to take Jennings back. Jennings-Knight-KCP would be an interesting 3 guard rotation for a team in rebuilding mode (which we clearly are now).

I hate that we traded Knight for Jennings.

I think the right course is to put him in as the backup PG with much less minutes... it's worth waiting the extra year to try to get something of value in trade for his expiring in 2015.... he'll be fine as a 15 minute backup that could step in in case of injury.
