I just spent 5 minutes trying to judge Wallace on his future and it only left me confused.

Isnt that quite steep for leaving your car after hitting a tree and a fence? I can see a hefty fine and get sued. But a year in prison that doesnt make any sense.

I think he meant the judgement of this event is being colored by Ben's more distant past (before this event).
