if you guys somehow resigned calderon, no doubt in my mind your situation would be much better. watching jennings operate makes me cringe.

Calderon is obviously light years better than Jennings but nothing would matter if Josh Smith was still on this team.

I find it hilarious that people lol'd when I suggested we retain Calderon and chase Korver or Redick in free agency.

Imagine Dre, Monroe, Korver, KCP and Calderon on the floor.

Our D would still be terrible but offensively we'd be so much better.

The longer the season goes the more I grow to dislike Joe...and I don't want it to end like that!

Yeah but you have to remember that Josh is a winner and took Atlanta to the Playoffs several times. It's Monroe, not Josh that needs to go and he's our second best asset. He doesn't have the fire to win right now and that's enough for me to kick him out.

This is what I think will happen with Monroe.

If we re-sign him to whatever contract, he won't change the way he plays. His effort will be the same as he probably views this team as a joke.

If we trade him, I can see him trying harder on another team which is gonna piss me off.

What so he wasn't a major contributor to guarding Lebron. Also, defense wins championships and only winners play defense because it's all effort and personal.
