Monroe was more inefficient offensively than Smith usually is plus he got embarrassed on the other end, not sure how that shows him and Drummond "fit fine together".
10-24 is 42% which is much higher than 30 so easy on the inefficient label.
Stats say he shoots 70% of his shots at the rim & hits them at a 56% clip so let go of the inefficient thing.
Agree with you defensively though, you know that. Even though "embarrassed" isnt giving up 14 pts to an All Star, I know what you mean.

again 70% inside 5 feet at a 57% clip, thats not inefficient.
Lets keep it factual.

Here's the thing? Monroe went 10-24 last night. Of all 24 shots he took, how many of them were shots he shouldn't have taken? They were all in his range except for one long jumper.
When Smith takes 24 shots, 6 of them will be 3s. Two of them will be turn around 20 footers.
That's the difference. Monroe missed some contested shots at the basket but kept putting the pressure on Atlanta. I don't mind that. I wouldn't mind that if Smith did it. I mind when he catches the ball with 19 seconds on the shot clock and jacks a 3. You should too.
This is really the bottom line.
When I play ball with people, I can live with dudes missing lay ups or shots near the rim, them bricking stupid 20 footers, hell no. Its all about getting good shots, thats basketball.
