I dont think this could happen even in 2k

Happened in 1993 between the Magic and Warriors.

We would need an act of God for #2 to offer us 3 first rd picks & the #2 pick for #1.

Dont get me wrong, I would take it in a NY min but that seems very far fetched.

Yes its probably far fetched today, but its happened. The Celtics( if they moved up in the lottery draft ) are probably the only team that could get away with it, and it wouldn't kill them for the next 5 years because they have a bunch of picks that aren't their own.

Public Service Announcement: Hot Mayo said Royce White is better than Anthony Davis and should have been the #1 overall pick on another board before that draft. That is all.

Wiggins will go #1 unless either team really wants to risk it all on Embiid.

Wiggin's ceiling is practically unlimited due to his absurd athleticism, but as of now he isn't good at anything in the half court offense except drawing fouls, so I'd keep my expectations low. We can't just assume that he'll become a better shooter, ballhandler, slasher, finisher and decision maker.

If Embiid didn't have a bum back he'd be the #1 prospect by a million miles.

I think Utah would find it very difficult to pass on Parker.

People could have said the same thing about Oladipo before last years draft.

This is true. But, there's nothing broken about Wiggins' game either. Additionally, he's pretty solid on defense for a rookie in college, which he should be able to translate to the NBA well, once he gains a feeling for the speed and the kind of tricks NBA players use to their advantage.

You don't take Wiggins to win a championship next year. You take him and hope that he and Drummond are leading you towards that goal 3 years down the road.

IMO, Wiggins can be as good as Paul George. Everyone can see how Wiggins defends.
On offense? Very raw. It's similar to George's early years in the league. Even now, no one knows what George's ceiling on offense is.

Oh ..and neither seen to have the "alpha dog" mentality. So...there's that as well, I guess.

This. I might consider trading at #2 or #3, but you can't trade Wiggins unless you're getting LBJ, Durant, or a crazy package like Wall, Beal and multiple unprotected firsts. Wiggins would look really good in a Piston uniform next year.

Let me make it clear that as flawed as Wiggins is right now I'd be thrilled to have him. He just isn't the LeBron-esque god that he's commonly held up to be. He could very easily fail to develop more on the offense end and just be a defensive specialist, and people should recognize that he isn't as great a prospect as he's hyped to be. Just being able to run high and jump fast mean nothing if you don't actually turn it into production, and Wiggins hasn't done that yet, so he could fail.
