You do know NO is one of the teams that are interested in signing Monroe right? So obviously the Ryan Anderson/Anthony Davis combination is not working. Anthony Davis's true position is the PF and they want to pair him up with a true C. So I guess your common sense has failed you this time. PG's are a hell of a lot easier to find than true C's nowadays.

Pg's are abundant but not easy to get. The only one on the market now is Lowry and all signs point to him resigning.

Your right. The only reason why I mentioned Jrue is because he was the only player on NO's roster that had me interested. I know there's a slim chance that NO would trade Jrue, but Ive seen GM's do some pretty questionable things over the past couple of years (especially in Detroit).

I don't trade Monroe for Gordon though - no chance in hell. I would definitely swap Smoove for Gordon though. Bad deal for bad deal - though I still think Houston and Asik also involved makes all the sense in the world for all teams as well.

Agreed on all accounts. Gordon's contract compared to production is crap. But, at least Gordon would relieve a log jam, and give us perimeter shooting. That alone would make it a welcome addition over Smith.
