Gerald Green
I think Gerald Green would be a good fit for us at the three spot. Do you guys think we could pull a descent Trade for him? & would he fit?

I would LOVE to have him, but we wouldn't be the only one's in the hunt. I wanted Dumars to pick him up before he blew up two years ago.

Re: Gerald Green
I'd definitely have interest in Gerry Green and his four finger dunks.
He played pretty well for Phoenix last year, and his contract is cheaper than Jerebko's. Not sure Phoenix would be very interested in trading him.

Yea, his finger sure is unique. But the kid has tremendous leaping ability. I think we should definitely try to trade for him. I don't think giving Greg Monroe up for him & moving Josh Smith to the 4 spot would be so bad.

Re: Gerald Green
We have a Trade Thread for these suggestions.
Anyways, in order for us to trade Monroe there, the Suns would have to offer him a contract (which they might not do, I don't think that they have any interest in Monroe), he'd have to sign it, and then we'd have to work out the deal with the Suns, which may or may not happen.
However, Green is not a particularly good player, even now. There was a reason he was coming off the bench for them when Dragic and Bledsoe were healthy-he's just a bench player. What's more, he is in the last year of his contract, so he could just walk at the end of the year.
We should be able to do better than Green for Monroe, and I don't think that the Suns want Monroe in the first place.

Yes to Gerald Green. no to the overpayment he's going to get. He's been playing phenomenol, however he lacks consistency. Also he's more a SG than SF.

Yes!! If we can trade Monroe for Green, Okafor, and a 1st round pick....then it'll be a successful offseason by itself!
This will be the most athletic front court ever

Greg Monroe for Gerald Green? Really? Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they threw in a reach-around.

I mean to get a pick or two would be fine I guess. I think Green is nice but he isn't the answer. We need to try and get that guy in a fa in all honesty. Deng looks like a match maybe.

I had proposed a Josh Smith for Gerald Green/Channing Frye trade some time ago. I think Phoenix would bite if they are serious about the playoffs
