Seems like Jeff Green, Wes Johnson( :-? ), Wilson Chandler, Beasley, or Aminu are realistic options when it comes to trades or FA signings. All five of them can start or come off the bench.

I would offer Bledsoe a 4-year max deal and if they match stick with Jennings until a top 10-12 PG becomes available. Use the rest of the money to go after Jason Smith to backup Dre and even play with him at times.

Drummond/Smith
Smith/Smith/Jerebko
Green/Singler/Jerebko
KCP/Singler/Bledsoe
Bledsoe/Jennings

Big fan of Smith, but you're givign up on Jorts???I know bledsoe would be matched, but I say make them make the move.

I still had him on the team just out of the 9-man rotation

Anthony is guy who cares about getting his own and being bigger than the game. If Melo bought into a team game he wouldn't get this run he does. I want no part of him. I think Russell Westbrook is heading down that road too.

You act like he's never been on winning teams before and never succeeded in a team offense, which is totally false.

Just last year he was part of a very unselfish Knicks offense that won 50+ games. He was on Denver teams that had great team offenses and went to the WCF.

His offense is not the issue with him, at all. Its his defense, but that said, he's also been a part of good defensive teams before too, like the two mentioned above. He's not a bad defender and doesn't lack any physical requirements to play defense. Its just about getting him motivated on that end, and I would trust Stan could do that.

Anthony cares more about scoring. I've never seen him take a charge. He is an average defender at best. Anthony is a one sided player and always will be that type of player. Sorry :banghead:

I'd rather go all in on Lance Stephenson than Melo!

Age is a huge factor but I believe Stephenson is an alpha and we need that.

We need to walk on the floor KNOWING we own it! That attitude has been missing for too long.

Jennings tries to bring that but he wasn't put in a position to succeed.

Lance/Jennings/KCP/Singler

33/33/30/24 leaves just 24 minutes available on the perimeter

The question is, how much wold would we realistically pay Stephenson(I'd say 3yrs/28mil). @Pharoah, your right about us needing that alpha/or someone who knows he owns it. People can say what they want about Stephenson, but he plays defense and he can be our part-time 1 when Jennings needs a rest.

Jennings/Stephenson
Stephenson/KCP/Morrow
Smith/Singler/Dudley
Moose/Smith
Drummond/Moose/Jorts

^That team looks playoff ready

My first option would be to bring in Lowry, but if we can't get him go all in for Lance. He is just 23 and showed strong improvement each season, his character might not be easy but if Stan can deal with Jennings and Josh, he will have no problem with Lance. ;)

Also i agree that Lance and KCP can play together, it would give us an option to bench Jennings in the 4th if SVG keeps him and he continues to play like crap in the 4th.
