You mean the skills he failed to use last season?

Even worse is the fact he had little to zero impact on Jennings both on & off the floor.

I have to say no he's not retained. SVG has no history with him to where he would feel obligated to bring him back like Dumars would have, despite bringing no real on court value at this point in his career.

So if you're Stan and you could spend that 2.5 mil on a proven shooter coming off a good year.... or a 38 yr old coming off a bad year (who may or may not even be healthy enough to play next year)...its hard to see him choosing to use that money on Chauncey.

He's been done and has been for quite some time. The mentoring experiment is over, there's no need to keep him. SVG opting not to retain Sheed as a coach, makes me think Billups is out the door and will not be retained in the front office.

Sounds as though Flip would like him in Minne, and unless the Pistons have a front office spot for him where he doesn't eat up cap space, the team should wish CB an appreciative and respectful goodbye.
