SVG has stated that IF you view Smith as our 3rd big then potentially we've got the best big man rotation in the East.
SVG's teams have a history of playing good team D, regardless of the individual's perceived strength or weakness on that side of the ball.
SVG in Orlando deployed multiple 3 point shooters around Dwight Howard, leading many to believe he'll do the same thing around Drummond.
Drummond is not Dwight yet so I don't think we're gonna be the Magic II next season.
I do expect us to play good team D, use our bigs better AND actually play with structure.
Last season we had no communication on D, switching on one PnR then not switching on the next. It wasn't a game by game issue - it was an issue play by play. That will change.
I have a lot of faith in SVG - more than most I'd imagine. IMO he's the single biggest acquisition outside of Cleveland this off-season. His presence on the sideline isn't a cure all...but geez its a good start

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
