I didn't think either Plumlee or Drummond looked "terrible," but no doubt that grouping wasn't playing together as a unit. Seemed like they were looking for runouts and weren't looking to get the bigs the ball where they needed it. They weren't rotating well on defense either. Drummond got 2 boards in 4 minutes so ...? I'll agree he didn't look as aggressive as I'd like, but when he did root a guy out down low they put a foul on him.

I'm not saying it works for or against any team, but the officiating at times is inconsistent to the point of being a little bizarre. Kyrie Irving got a foul on a play where I couldn't see that he actually touched the guy. Drummond got the foul for using his size and strength to improve his position, but they ignored all kinds of collisions in the paint? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying officiating was the reason for the relatively poor showing by Andre. Just wanted to comment as you could see the puzzlement/frustration on quite a few calls

Drummond had what looked like two bad misses for an alley oops

Also the few times he has played people have blown by him for layups

Drummond and Plumlee looked terrible today

I hate to say it,but it does seem like dre is just going thru the motions.I think he now relizes that he wont see any meaningful minutes. Its always been about the experience and working out with talent. He just looks really disinterested out there the last few games.Again, him and plum look terrible together out there.

Geez you guys are hard to please. 8 minutes, 4 points and 3 reb. You guys do the math. It's really not so bad. But yes, the finely honed chemistry of the group is clear for all to see. :D

Did anyone see the New Zealand team do their dance (their Rugby team is known for it) pre-game while Team USA just stood there dumbfounded? The look on their faces was priceless.

Nice over the shoulder oop from Plumlee to Drummond in the Dominican Republic game. I saw some highlights of Spain and this USA team is not ready. I REALLY hope they have plans for Drummond going forward, Gasol looks like a MONSTER! :o

Big game for former Piston Slava Kravtsov (15 pts / 4 rebounds / 1 block) against Team USA

Drummond looked bad again today

Lost on offense just standing around doing nothing

2-3 rebounds he just stared at and watched Ayon or an even smaller player grab the board

2 easy layups let in right in front of him no contesting the shot

Terrible miss on a jump hook

Even if he is only getting garbage minutes he hasnt shown much enthusiasm or effort these last few times he has played

Maybe Detroit should use some of that caphold money left over from Moose signing the QO to sign Gus Ayon.

Well somehow France beat Spain. So Drummond's chance to actually play in a meaningful situation just disappeared...

M Gasol, Ibaka, and Rubio shot 1-7 each. The only guy that showed up for Spain was Pau, who has been killing it most of the tournament.

Sad.

Oh some of the same brain dead crap he used to do for the Pistons during the season. Just watching :o

And watching :o

Well if you're going to watch the play, you might as well have a seat and watch it.

I hope SVG crushes him repeatedly until he is totally engaged at all times. I'm talking Joakim Noah engaged.

Return to Detroit Pistons
