The Link To Student Pistons Tickets! Support! + Dre Drummond

Post#1 » by 313 Professor » Sat Sep 13, 2014 12:27 am

I don't know how many of you actually go to the Pistons games, but through a college program with the Pistons Sales team I am selling discounted tickets of all kinds. Just inbox me if you want season tickets, specific game tickets, preseason tickets or whatever through November. This isn't some bootleg stuff either it's a student sales program and I deal directly with the Pistons. Just thought I would share that with yall before I go on my spiel!!

THE LINK ON PISTONS SITE FOR DISCOUNTED TICKETS: OFFER CODE "CMU"

As far as Andre Drummond, does it bother anybody else that he gets no minutes on Team USA?? I know he's only 21, but with seeing how Faried has emerged and all the respect he's getting I really wish the same would've occurred with Andre. Also with hype directly from the Pistons, I am really excited about this years team. The pure shooting on our roster with all of the additions and the shooters we already have really make for an intriguing team with a REAL head coach. From 1st hand experience Jodie Meeks is lights out!! :D :D I'm going to go to some games this year! First time in 2 years smh

SVG will get them to buckle down and play the right way on both ends but for a while now I've questioned the mental toughness of our roster.

People talk about BBIQ and how you either have it or you don't: I disagree (to a point) and believe experience on the floor and coaching can help a great deal.

What can't be taught is the drive to succeed. You're either internally driven by something to continue to put the time and effort in or you're not. No amount of coaching or playing time is going to make person work hard when the bright lights are off.

I'm interested to see what impact SVG has on all aspects of the organization. And it won't be too long before we find out

One can only hope. I agree with you on all levels though, the tone and attitude of the team is just as important as the talent sometimes. I get all good vibes from what I've seen first-hand and heard.

No, I am a Michigan college student. Did you want tickets? I'll go into further detail in an inbox.

Sure it would've been nice, but Dre's lack of minutes really doesn't bother me. Keep in mind, Davis got no minutes during the Olympics two years ago, and now look at him. Plus, it's arguable that Drummond has never really been, you know, COACHED since he was in high school (seeing as Calhoun was sick his one year at UConn and he's had nothing but substitute teachers since he got here). Just the experience of being on the team at his age is invaluable, and I'm sure SVG will build upon it with him once he gets his hands on Dre at training camp.

I'm not bothered at all about Dre barely getting any burn for Team USA. While a lot of love and admiration gets tossed on him around here, the reality is that he is still incredibly raw and needs a lot of improvement on both ends of the floor.

What he's done so far has mostly been a product of his incredible athleticism, and playing on a team that misses WAY more shots than they make, which increases the opportunity for rebounds. For comparison- expect to see Kevin Love's rebounding numbers to take a huge dip this year when he's playing around LeBron and Irving, opposed to Rubio and Martin.

Additionally, I can't think of a better way for Dre to spend his summer. Prior to going to the the Team USA practices, he was hanging out with Brandon Jennings in LA. I'd much rather have Dre hanging around team USA than that idiot.

I think Drummond being on the roster this season is more so geared for the Olympic team in 2016 than FIBA this year. They can get him on the team, "in the pipeline" so to speak, and come 2016, he could (and hopefully should) be one of the top players on the team come the Olympics.

Must be challenging selling tickets for an inferior product. I used to have season tickets. The palace reps started calling me trying to give away tickets in 2010. With Brandon Jennnings at the helm of the pistons I will never go to a game. The guy is an absolute pile of trash and I would rather go do just about anything than see that bum loser.

Yea, it doesn't give me the option to message you for some reason. :-? I guess you don't have enough posts. I wasn't aware of that.

Email me at jharris_pistons@yahoo.com and identify that you are from RealGM, and anybody else that wants tickets and can't inbox me on here do the same. I've only received 1 inbox, but I check that more often anyway. Sorry about the oversight
