With our luck, we'll get the 2nd worst record in the league but drop down to 5th in the draft

The lowest we can go is the 4th pick if we are top 3

This is not true. If we finish with the worst record in the league- we can fall to 4th. If we finish with the 2nd worst record in the league we can fall to 5th. If we finish with the 3rd worst record in the league we can fall to 6th. The first 3 picks are determined by the lottery which means 3 teams have a chance at jumping ahead of us

Not to be that guy, but you all feel it don't you? That inevitable run of wins coming up that puts us smack dab in no mans land? That magical 7-10 pick where all the top talent is gone, but the remaining players are just good enough/bad enough to keep you out of the lottery and playoffs.

It's like the icy hand of death, and I'm fairly certain I can feel it..... :nonono:

I might need a prescription for antidepressants by the time this season is over. I hear Prozac is popular.

I'll take this moment to remind everyone that there has been a year in recent memory where we started 4-20 and still wound up in no man's land.

^only risk of that happening is if Meeks is some sort of world beater, because there is nobody with the heart on this team to be able to take over and will us to being a better team and no trade potential to improve us either other than addition by subtraction in certain cases.

Given our upcoming schedule we could be 6-30 without much of a stretch to see us there, so we'd have to go .500 the rest of the season just to get to 30 wins.

No you're right. I didn't think of someone jumping into all 3 picks. My fault.

How do you figure that?

Injuries weren't to blame for the previous 4-20 start. The team just started playing better.

The difference was striking enough that I even had some hope it would carry over to the next season. Obviously it didn't.
