I'd love to see it. He seems like a guy that could take on that kind of challenge and he'd be a lot more confident after a few weeks.
Sadly it won't happen. :(

I was reading how the biggest bump in our road to a win has been DJ Augustine. SVG was expecting much better play from him and he has definitely dissappointed. Having said that, i do not understand why he continues to sit Dinwiddie when augustine is obviously struggling

If will Bynum had a 3 point shot, he'd be arguably a starter on this team. I miss his chemistry with the players around him. That streak that he had with Dre 2 years ago when it was Bynum/Dre pick and roll surrounded by shooters, that was the blueprint for our future team around dre. A point guard that can beat the first man, and make the right decisions once help side defense slides over.

The fan 180 on Bynum post his tenure is even funnier than everyone's slow recognition that Josh was one of the dumbest signings in the history of man kind.

The Greg Monroe post tenure 180 is going to be insane. To be fair tho, quite a few get how underrated he is & appreciate him.

so yeah, both meeks and KCP need to be starting. let monroe back up both frontcourt spots until we can find a trade partner for him. i'd even go as far to say that we should start DJ and sit jennings until he's healthy/we can trade him. in the meantime, give dinwiddie some PT and see what the kid can do with an extended look.

josh smith still sucks, but we're probably stuck with him for at least the rest of this year, so might as well start him and try to get the best possible production out of him. he'll add more than a few L's to the tank, so there's that. in the offseason, maybe we can package him with our draft pick to move up a few spots in the draft.

Augustin/Jennings/Dinwiddie
Meeks/Singler/Martin
KCP/Butler/Martin
Smith/Monore/Jerebko
Drummond/Monroe

That would be my rotation. Augustin has had a rough season like Jennings but I like his ability to finish inside and hes starting too use Dre more as well.

Ehh, Monroe is pretty good but he is far from a special player. Hes clearly better then Smith. I would be pretty upset if we would have maxed him out. Theres just no passion or intensity in his game.

I mean old players like Pau Gasol and Milsap are still far superior players and they actually seem to impact the games more. Monroe is just one of those guys that plays big every other night and can look mediocre more often then not. I just wish we could have gotten some assets for him but a max contract would have been a pretty bad deal.

Teams with no talent that can't attract talent should appreciate the talent they do somehow luck into.

The funny thing it's always the sucky teams that have fans complaining about the 1 or 2 things they have that don't suck.

Long term, KCP may be more comfortable coming off the bench, and it might take some pressure off his shooting issues. But I agree with the folks saying Meeks won't start until his conditioning is better.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
