POP stated Dre was a great rebounder. Are these stats supposed to imply elite defense by either player?

According to these, players are shooting a higher FG% then they usually do when Drummond is defending the shot.

I think POP sold Drummond short, especially given his vastly improved play the past few games, but still made some valid points.

With Bogut's knee acting up, the Warriors could use just such an option. If Detroit doesn't mind a late first-rounder, I wouldn't be shocked to see something done this week. Bogut or no Bogut, another skilled low post guy might just get the W's over the top when it comes to contending.

Here's why Monroe will not waive his NTC under any circumstance -



That's Blazers before LMA and Johnson re-sign, Spurs if Gino and Duncan retire, Grizzlies if Gasol leaves, Mavs if Rondo and Chandler don't stay, Raptors have Valanciunas, Kings have Cousins.

So of the teams that have $12M really only Philadelphia, Atlanta, Knicks, Celtics, Lakers and Magic have real room under the cap. Now I can't see Monroe heading to Philly, not sure he's a NYC guy and that franchise might be a bigger mess than ours, Kobe and Lakers are years away from contending as well. So really his choices would be Atlanta, Boston and Orlando and Boston could be in a complete tear down rebuild as well. Atlanta and Orlando would be mightily enticing options of course.

But if Monroe agreed to a trade now he loses Bird Rights, meaning he can only sell himself to teams with the cap space - so he'd be limited to two up and coming/contender types, but if he stays here all 30 teams would be in play for him to sell himself to.
