The Outsiders Game 27
The Outsiders were making a name for themselves in the Association, Dominating team after team, The Outsiders were now Headed into Detroit the City of The Blue Collar. The Detroit team was facing a tough season losing countless times. But like the City, the Pistons were a team that gave there best effort in the face of biased circumstances.
See the City of Detroit was struggling with giving Water to it's people. It was even stated that the City shut off water to 300 000 people. The people were struggling not from there own fault, but because of What Outsider realized when he took a stroll down 8 mile, They were set up to fail. Detroit a City of Winners lost many Jobs to the system and many companies left the city to find workers else where. A city that was one of the Largest in the Association, had many a ghost towns. The people who are some of The Strongest in the Country bravely struggled on, without any support from there Sports stars, Musicians, and Entertainers. The Country that the Association is in was strangely quite of the suffering of these, Americas Hardest Workers were facing. Outsider was walking down the street and felt for the people of his opponenets. It was known by him that 30 000 homes had water shutoff in the city and were Forced to PAY for water.

As we lived in Detroit we saw jobs leave, car companies leave, People lose their Jobs. People come, the suburbs ignore, yet through all the problems, The Most High has not left us comfort less. They can steal our wealth, But Joy comes from God, thats something they can never take" A broad smile came across the elders Face. Outsider looked at her and was saying "Even through all this, You still smile?It's not fair" The Elder looked at him and her eyes of comfort melted the anger growing in Outsider. She Said "My Son, Your still learning, be open to others and Never let your faith shake, trials may come, But Your faith will stand the test as long as you believe, Remember The Storm won't last forever but Joy comes in the Morning" Then the Elder went away Singing a Joyful Hymn God Is Good, Then Outsider remembered a Bible Verse that spoke to him:

Outsider, Came back to himself and said "wait Elder" but she was gone. Outsider ran down the street looking for her, but there was no trace of her. Outsider scratched his head and decided to go back to the Practise arena. Wondering to himself what just happened.
At the Arena the Outsiders were pumped for the Game and were ready for the challenge. The Outsider Known as Avalanche was pumping himself up for the game. Avalanche was the Strongest over all player on the team and the Team defender against the Other teams bullies. Avalanche was ready for the Game and was a Radical on the Team, who learned to control his temper and let his game speak instead his strength. Outsider was shooting FT's and Avalanche came up to him and said "Yo, Youngsta, this game won't be easy man, We will need all hands on deck" As he smacked Outsider on the Back and let out a hearty laugh. Outsider Knew that the Band of Brothers was the closet a Team he has seen in any sports Team in the City of Toronto. The Brotherhood was what kept them Kings of the East even when the Outsider named Example fell injured.
The Bench dubbed "The Bench of Legend"(Unkown to them), was Next man up. The Player that stepped up Next was the Outsiders Backup SF(Fields) Who hardly played more then 5 minutes a game, Yet the past 5 games his defense had led the team to a almost Top 10 Defense on the season. It was like he was playing All season and did not miss a beat. the Bench of Legend just put one man in, and he stepped up like he could start for 24 teams as a regular. "Keep your head up Youngsta" Said The New Starting SF(Fields) A Man of many talents on and off the court, he was the Jester of the team and kept everyone loose. Outsider looked at his Brothers Outsider, and was happy to go to battle with these Men.
As practice finished. the Outsiders Backup Vet C(Hayes), Called his mates to him and said "Fellas, Tonight is not a walk in the Park, We are facing a Team as strong as the Cities people. So All hands on Deck tonight, We play our game we win, we play selfish we will be in for a dog fight, then its anyones game" All the Outsiders nodded in agreement. Then "CAAAWWWWWWW" A Eagle Yelled. And Outsider looked up and was shocked to see that it was a HARPY EAGLE, THE WORLDS MOST POWERFUL EAGLE Found in Brazil and Papuan New Guinea Staring right at him as it perched on a branch:
Then Outsider Knew it was game time and went to the stadium.
At the Game the Loyal Fans of the Outsiders were cheering and enjoying themselves. It seemed the entire Stadium was majority Toronto Fans. The Leader(Casey) called his Men over to him and told them the Keys to the game. "Stop Drummond, and contain the PG," The Instigator the Outsiders Starting C was Pumped for this Game because he knew he will be facing one of his Main rivals Drummond. The team was ready for a good fight on there hand because the Pistons is a team that never gives up.
As the Game began both teams were hungry and were battling blow for blow, but the Pistons began to pull away. And the Outsiders were shocked at how hard the Pistons were playing led by there PG Brandon Jennings who was a fighter and rose to the challenge against the Best of the best. The team quickly fell down in Motor City and looked like a game that they would need to find that extra gear. As the game went on the Outsiders started to pull equal with the driven piston's and were slowly pulling away. Then It happened. The Outsiders New Starting Sf(Landry Fields), Jumped up and was accidentally undercut by his opponent hitting his head on the ground. The Crowd was stunned as all the Outsiders rushed to there fallen brethern side. The only thing that could destabilize the Outsiders Season of Redemption was the dreaded injury. Example fell to it and it looked like the Next man up from the Bench of Legend also fell. As the Coach contemplated who to play, The Outsiders Wild, Radical Backup SF Avalanche went up to the Coach and said "Coach, The Team needs a Spark, please put me in" Coach nodded his agreement and With A huge smile Avalanche ran on the court. And as usual with the Bench of Legend, the next man up Was hungry. He attacked the Pistons with a Force known to his nickname Avalanche When he started Running no force was greater on the court to stop him.
Then out of No Where it happened, Avalanche had the Ball and drove baseline, and the Young Lion Drummond who was a shot blocker extraordinare was ready it was the Immovable object versus the Irresistible force. Avalanche not known as a player who new his limits Jumped at Drummond and With the Force of a Avalanche:
BAM!!!! Slammed so hard on Drummond that the dunk was felt all the way in Juba, South Sudan. Best Dunk of the Season. The Team was pumped and from then the game was not close. The Unteameable yet Humble Outsider Known as Avalanche had done what he was brought in the team to do, Spark a Boost.
The Game was closing down and the team was finishing up another win. Led by The Bench of Legend's next man Up the Backup SF Avalanche. The Bench of Legend is 15 man deep and proved it without there All Star player Example going 7-3 in the last 10 games. The Team was Hungry, Brash Yet Humble, Unified and Ready. And they proved it again.
Outsider Drove home to his home and was tired after a hard game and as he was entering the Home, He was surprised by his Wife, who stood at the door way in all her Majestic Beauty. A smile arose on his face as he looked at his wife. Here Copper skin glistened, and her beautiful form was illuminated in her Dress. Her perfectly braided hair a bright Black color stood out on her Fine Featured face and her smile lured him in. As he walked up to his Wife she smilingly said "Hey Sweety, How was the game?" Outsider knew his wife from Youth Church Night, ,several years ago, and she was with him through good times and the bad. She would often read verses from the Bible to Him when he was at his most Low. Outsider Knew that his Completion(Wife) was a Blessing from God to support him through the roughest of times. Her upbeat attitude, Love for Africa, and her patience was the remedy he needed to Get through all the confusions. "Honey, She said, How about you come in and tell me about the Game" Her smile often left Outsider in a Trance and he Knew his Queen was the Tonic for his tiredness. Then without thinking he Picked her up in his arms, Outsider gazed in her eyes, her eyes a Beautiful Black like raven color looked back at him and she giggled. "I Love You Sweetheart" he said as she looked at him. "I Love You too" she said. Then Outsider and his Wife went into there Home. Outsider's Wife was never one to reveal too much, but was always dressed comfortably yet Sexy. She also was The Greatest Cook next to his Mother. She cooked some of the best Caribbean, and African food known to man, thought Outsider. Some of her speciaties 1st from Africa he thought :
Bobotie from South Africa: Spiced ground meat with an egg topping.
Cachupa Cape Verde: A stew of hominy, beans, and meat.
Jollof rice (West African): commonly African rice, tomatoes and tomato paste, onion, salt, spices (such as nutmeg, ginger, Scotch bonnet (pepper), cumin) and chili pepper; optional ingredients can be added such as vegetables, meats and fish
Doro Wat on Injera (Ethiopia) Meat (chicken, beef, or lamb), vegetables, niter kibbeh, spices
And from the Caribbean:
Ackee and saltfish Jamaica: salt fish is sautéed with boiled ackee, onions, Scotch Bonnet peppers (optional), tomatoes, and spices, such as black pepper and pimiento
