Which was itself a spectacular sequel to the summer of Gordon/Villanueva.

I've always believed that Joe's "luck" wasn't luck at all!

In the beginning he was clise enough to the players to know what the deal was and who he should get, how they fit, how things would go...

As time drew on it was obvious he was losing touch (he played it safe in Drafts, made poor trades, sided with players on everything, reacted poorly to analytics, reacted poorly to the changing rules)

At no stage did Joe value draft picks IMO. At no stage did he value young cheap prospects!

I love the man more than most, but he's like Chris Benoit for me: I can't forget the horrible things he did and love him like I used to

That was a very interesting read...thank you. I do remember all those old anti-Lebron articles. While I didn't like LeBron, Woj's rage actually made LeBron a sympathetic character. His venom was comical. You knew there was something out of the norm about the inexplicable way Woj rose to the top and this article does a good job detailing it. I don't blame Dumars at all for what he did, though...Those two lifted each other up. Positive press for the Pistons and for Joe was good for the team....Unfortunately, Joe didn't know how to take it from there.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Was it to put Woj in his pocket in regards to getting positive press from his articles?

I dont really understand Dumbass' motivation in all this

Probably, look at this article

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/pistons-iv ... --nba.html

It is so cringe-worthy in hindsight but look how glowing Woj is talking about Detroit.

Every time I read an old article about how Rodney Stuckey would replace Chauncey billups, a little piece of my soul dies.

I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.
