Keep in mind a chunk of those backup SF minutes will be going to KCP and/or Meeks and if we sign a big money guy there we're only looking at an extra 10-12mpg. This is unless we sign a guy like Dray Green who will play a lot at the 4 as well, which would bring up questions about the necessity of Tolliver and Jerebko.

I think Tolliver was mostly brought in just in case we lose JJ or his asking price is too high, We then have the choice of just picking up Tollivers PO if so. I don't expect to see both back next season though. It's more than likely one or the other seeing as they are pretty much playing the same role.

The cap is projected to reach 80 million as soon as next year, having a 15 million PF/C will do very little to hurt this team's flexibility. We will take a step back if we lose Monroe and will have to spend 15-20 million to find a starting caliber PF and backup C- since there is a premium placed on bigs as evidenced by backups like Channing Frye, Jordan Hill getting 9 million a year.

Not to mention that we have around 20 million in cap this offseason to add a "wing scorer" before we even resign Monroe, which I think gets more likely after every game.

Greg has bought into SVG and is beasting. He has been a force these last few games. And his production is especially important on nights where the perimeter shots aren't falling. At this point, it should be becoming more clear to even the biggest Greg haters- that Drumroe is a force to be reckoned with.

Ok, if we don't pick up Butler and keep Singler's caphold- we should have around 18-19 million to spend in free agency. Theoretically, we could max out a SF like Harris, add a couple more players with the remaining $$ to cheap deals, and add 2 draft picks, all the while retaining both Monroe and Singler.

We are well positioned to get even better this offseason, which I hope is a selling point that SVG makes to Greg so we can keep Drumroe in tact.
