I think he should be benched and JJ should get a shot at starting again. Moose and Jennings can anchor the starting lineup. Drummond can earn his way back into his starting position by making him work for it.

In one of the many "how are the Pistons doing this" articles I've read, there was one from SI or ESPN that mentioned rumors of monroe wanting smith gone in the summer and small whispers of Drummond not liking it here...I blew it off but now, who knows.

"It's four games in a row where he hasn't brought a lot to the game," Van Gundy said. "And we need him, obviously. He hasn't given us a whole lot. Tonight he didn't rebound. So we just sat him down.

Here is Jennings

"We all know what Andre is capable of doing," Jennings said. "He's the type that gets 15 (points) and 20 (rebounds) without having plays called for him. Andre has to get with himself and talk about it. I'm gonna try to talk to him, of course. We need him."

Neither Jennings nor SVG would be calling out Drummond if he was injured or sick. Hopefully Drummond is embarrased by these comments and gets up for the next game. If not, I hope SVG is quicker to bench him.

Perplexed at this. If its not personal, and not telling anyone, then he must have a depression disorder or something. No way you go 4 games like this. Thats not normal. Thats too long.

No one can be this stupid. Can he ? Man, lol. Scratching my head. We are hottest team. Playoffs on the cusp. Why get lethargic?

I honestly have no clue. This is one of the most surreal turn arounds in sports history and the face of the franchise, of all people, looks apathetic.

It leads me to only one thing...

As i said, there's probably a explanation for Dre's sluggishness i know that he's been batling a foot injury since texas and has been sick. There are no reports that Dre is unhappy with the team or coach, or that his attitude is being questioned as of yet. Some of you expect him to dominate every night, and i am wondering were that came from? When in the nba has Dre or Monroe been a consistent player. Especially when the other teams defensive strategy is built around keepin dre off the glass and PnR game.

I get the frustration, however this "laziness" that your throwing around has no validity as of yet. If SVG calls him out , then i'll be more willing to entertain this whole , Dre has no heart arguments.

Also he wasn't in the game against SA , he wasn't in the game against Raps, we won both. So those acting like its all dre's fault we are losing this game is non-sense.

I know what you guys are saying makes you fell better about the situation but this is what separates the men from the boys. Just a fact and he's doing it way too often now.

since you want to call us boys, why don't you explain how not overreacting makes us "boys"

Also what matto is saying is there are plenty of posters here who disappear when Dre has good games, and there is a reason why.

Looks like he called him out , Like I said there is no reason for his laziness, Especially now with the team clicking and trying to make a playoff push. 2pts and 2rebs is just unacceptable no matter how many excuses you keep trying to make for it.

I agree.

A 2& 2 dud game when we're a bottom dweller is one thing... but right now... unacceptable. Good job SVG!

It has to be something personal, as i said earlier, sex tape, getting a girl pregnant, or warm beer can make a man depressed.

There is a reason they are whispering and who likes to lose....so how does this work , we go on a win streak ultimate high in which dre looks so happy, then he decides he loves losing and doesn't want to win!?

GRD are playing a game right now on NBA TV. Datome looks rusty seeing as he hasn't played in a while.

This game really showed that SVG is a bottom-tier coach and that we should trade Drummond and Monroe for assets before they are exposed for being glorified D-Leaguers. Winning 9 out of 10 was nice, and we all believed we were good enough to challenge the Chicago Bulls' 72 win record for a minute, but now we must realize that we have but a mere fraction of the ability of the 76ers and that even the Washington Generals would trounce us every chance they got. We'd even get destroyed by the Parks and Rec team in the light blue jerseys....You know, the team with the kid who just holds the ball with a glazed look in his eyes while snot slowly runds down his nose and his father cheering on while holding a camcorder with the lens cap still on. That team. Yes, before this game we rightfully held championship notions, but now there is nothing left to do but question the very fabric of this team, look in the mirror, and sneer at our ugliness. #SampleSizeof1Judgements.
