Because isn't the cap gonna spike the following off-season?

SVG could have us in a prime position to buy big that off-season

By that time retaining Jennings could be the "buying big".

Andre is a great piece to have and now I think we can be elite even without a superstar wing because of the increased production by Jennings & DruMroe- but we still need an upgrade at the wing.

Apparently Tobias Harris coming off the bench is going to be a regular thing for ORL- I was just reading their GT. If so, hopefully SVG shows up at his door at midnight on July 1st. I cannot see ORL paying major money for a guy they have already relegated to the bench, nor can I see Harris happy with that arangement. Harris will have a lot of suitors, but I hope SVG is there first.

I think we are going to bring back a lot of players- Butler to be our 3rd stringer, we probably will retain Singler, Tolliver as well. I wouldn't be shocked if we retained Joel for the vets min. While Jerebko has been great, I don't see him comin back if Tolliver continues taking his minutes.

Completely agree I'm telling you he was auditioning for us at the end of the game shooting 3's and beasting.

Could be possible. I swear Grant Hill did the same thing in the '99-00 season when he went down there to Orlando and dropped about 40 on em.

It's really too early in the rebuild to start talking about "missing pieces". We've got Dre in the middle, and everything after that is still a question mark. (And even then, Dre is a bit of question mark himself into what type of player he will eventually grow into.) We need an obvious talent upgrade at the 3, but everything else is wide open. Will KCP improve? Can meeks play a more well rounded game in our system? Will Moose resign? Is Jennings improvement permanent or just a hot streak?

Barnes would be great but I see no reason why GS would want to mess with what they have right now.
