What a 180.

Milwaukee now has the tallest guards ever. I like Knight a lot more than MCW though.... Will he ever learn to shoot? He's not going to last as a 'franchise' player unless he can shoot above 40% for at least one year lol. Once he is not allowed to take so many shots because he is ineffective, suddenly those boards and assists aren't going to mean anything to the fans. Knight's going to fit into that hybrid SG/PG role in Phoenix nicely.

Rough day for Phoenix though. Traded out Dragic & IT for 3 late 1st then traded that Laker's pick, Tyler Ennis and Plumlee for Knight.

PHX trading that Lakers pick was just terrible, Worst move of the day for me.

its kind of ironic that my former fav player knight was traded for your fav mcw. I am actually glad this trade happend as we are going to see if MCW can be effective on a winning team and going to be interesting to see how kid designs his offense around a pg with no range. As you probably guessed i think Milwakee is now going to drop out of the playoffs with that trade. I would be pleasantly suprised if MCW proves me wrong and makes Milwakee better.

Bucks turned Brandon Jennings into Plumlee, Ennis, and MCW

Phoenix complete **** the bed after last season's amazing run. Signed Thomas for no reason. Then traded what could end up being a lottery pick in order to dump him despite his fairly cheap contract. Beyond stupid, maybe one of the worst moves in the history of the NBA. It will haunt the Suns like the Lilliard trade haunts the Nets to this day.

Maybe...they may not have gotten that pick this year anyway due to Top 5 protection, and who knows where it'd be next year if the Lakers have an offseason to retool.

I'm really starting to think dude just wanted to start, not so much get paid. Looking at his Twitter comments and whatnot, seems so happy to be a starting PG. Is he going to get more than 10 mill, no doubt. But I don't get the vibe he's angling for the max like I do with Moose.

Will Jackson and Prince play tonight?
When will SVG do the press conference to introduce them?

No chance Dragic re-signed with us, and frankly, I wouldn't have wanted to invest the dollars he wanted, even if he wanted to be here. I'm much happier taking Jackson, and using these last couple months as a try-out period. If Stan doesn't like the fit, he walks, and we shed Augustin's (small) contract, and move on looking for a better fit at backup PG. If he does fit, we have his RFA rights, and have a PG rotation equivalent to our current (and hopefully long term) C rotation.

Imagine starting Drummond, Moose, SF, Jackson, Jennings, and then rotating the two bigs with the two PGs. We'd never see any drop off from those two spots. That could absolutely destroy teams.

Honestly, if Stan handles this like I expect him to, he might just be the mad scientist of NBA coaches.

We have at least improved our chances. Miami has to contend with Wade being in and out of the lineup and Bosh being out for awhile too. I see them struggling to hold on to eight.

Charlotte's playoff spot is ripe, as is Milwaukee.

We have upgrades in place in the form of far better defenders.

I'd rather have Jennings. Are people really that high on Plumlee?

I hope the -24 degree weather doesn't scare them off lol. Literally the worst time of year to arrive in Detroit.

Very doubtful. They have to pass medical exams, and actually arrive in Detroit. I'd expect to see them suit up on Sunday.

Maybe the mayor will play really good and be the backup that we need

I would think this deal wouldn't have happened if Jennings didn't get hurt. Now it looks like he will be moved in the offseason.

depends, Jennings can still be a backup, and 8 million expiring isn't something you have to immediately get rid of
