It could be Lucas or it could be anyone in a trade that might come up by the deadline. Anything can happen in the next 10 days as far as trades and teams making desperate moves moving picks and what not.

Are you sure the trade deadline is in 10 days? That seems early.

February 10th is the deadline usually. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Way wrong. Not even close.

Feb 19th, and it has always been after the all star break.

Nate Wolters is available. I'd much rather go after him

Agree. Wolters may not be a veteran like Lucas, but he surely has to be an upgrade over Dinwiddie.

Well, Lucas can shoot at least. His lone 3 point shot meant that he scored as much as Miami's 3 point guards combined.

Nate Wolters couldn't beat out Jimmer Freddette. Nates assist to turnover was pretty good in his rookie season when the Bucks won 15 games. His 58 games played that year was the 5th most on that team, so he was forced playing time. No, just no.

I would assume they don't really need another ball handler, which is what Wolters is. They have Holiday, Gordon, and Evans to do that. Fredette, a better shooter than Wolters, is a better fit for them, but not better overall.

Nate Wolters, at best(with a lot of good breaks), projects to be something like John Paxson or Steve Kerr. Hes not really a true PG, but he can manage the position. I just don't see him being anything more then a career Pro Journeyman. I don't think he has enough to even reach NBA journeyman.

Pistons sign Lucas for the remainder of the season.

Just in case we have to go super-small.

What was our B-option? Sign the even shorter Nate Robinson who's coming his ACL injury?

Our backup PG situation is less than ideal. But, I suppose it's better than starting a backup PG.

Nate Robinson would have been far better than Lucas

Watch him sign and then blow up for Chicago now that Rose is out

A folding chair would be just as useful as JLIII. He's awful. Anytime he comes on the floor, you know the other team is going on a run. There should be no reason to play him. With Reggie, KCP, Meeks and Dinwiddie ahead of them, they can play all the guard minutes.
