This month he has played like a future top 10 SG(maybe top 5, because he is already one of the best defensive SGs)!! 8-) You can bet nearly every team in the league would give up a non-lottery 1st round pick for him. Easy. Maybe even #10-#15 or possibly slightly higher with the way he has been playing lately. If he keeps this month's production up, he will be on everyone's list for breakout players next year.

I'm guilty of underrating KCP earlier this year. He has improved A LOT.

Don't pay attention to them, most of them are just hating cuz there still blowing the MCW or Burke train. If they can't see the progression thats more a lack of their own scouting ability than fact.

Come on it's the usual suspects so I'm not surprised they're burying Pope already...shocker.

He has made 3.2 per game in his last 5. KCP has HUGE potential.

But in February, KCP has found his groove. Since January 31, Caldwell-Pope is averaging 16 points on 57 percent true shooting, including 47 percent from three on 5.7 attempts per game. It's the best stretch of his professional career, and has helped boost his three point shooting percentage up to a respectable 36.5 percent for the year.

He's been getting it done in a variety of ways, off catch-and-shoot situations, stepping back on a pick-and-roll, and in transition opportunities. That kind of versatility has allowed him to get up three pointers at a voluminous rate.

Caldwell-Pope certainly still has some rough edges to smooth out - most importantly, making a jump in his trips to the free throw line like he did in college. But he's still a very young player and there's some notable signs of development in his game

seeing how Ben mclemore is so close, i don't feel that KCP's 3 record is anything of relevance when a kid from his draft is in 2nd place. i don't if its cuz Ben Mc is also that good or that this record gets broken a bit

I actually see him surpassing Afflalo. His athleticism gives him a slight advantage.

Double A is no slouch athletically, so I can't rightly say if KCP has a distinct advantage. But his average wing span limits him to some extent.

AA is a well conditioned athlete who is surprisingly stronger than he looks. KCP is much faster. He also has hops. AA defends using his intelligence. He studies film and has been known to be a student of the game since UCLA. KCP is extremely aggressive and looks to overwhelm the offensive player with his intensity.

I didn't mean to slight AA, I just believe KCP has an edge in the categories I noted above. KCP could still learn a great deal from AA.
