There's no denying RJ had a terrible game. I won't be one of those posters who blows up whenever someone points out that a player is having a bad game but you seem to over-criticize the players you don't like (Jackson) and over-praise the players you do like (Monroe). Monroe has had plenty of games like Jackson had tonight where he is a complete liability on both ends of the floor and even though you do give Moose some criticism here and there it's never to the extent of a guy you dislike. Let's give Jackson some time to figure things out before we destroy him with our preconceived notions. I was completely out of all the Jackson talk before we acquired him so I didn't really have much of an opinion on him at that time. From what I've seen though, he has some elite skills and a lot of unwarranted baggage (being a cancer) so I'm going to give him some time to see how he fits in. Just like a rookie, you can see the high level of potential he has as a PG and I think he will achieve most of that potential. Time will tell.

Everyone in the league can have off nights, that's not the problem. He was just taking really bad contested shots in critical moments that literally cost us that game in the closing seconds. That's just flat out trying to play hero ball and chucking Josh Smith style is what he did last night. It's still too early to write him off but that kind of play can't happen or we will go right back to being a crap team quick.

This is utter BS. Jackson was crap last night, point blank. Even a blind person could see that. Do I dislike Jackson? Certainly not but am I going to pretend that he was better than utter crap last night? No. Have I ever stated that Jackson would continue to play like crap? No.

Monroe has never had a game like this, Monroe doesn't play hero ball- when Greg has the ball- he makes the right plays. Cannot remember a single time where Monroe has ever hogged the ball to launch 24 shots while only making 5 of them. Monroe has also never had his shot swatted 7 times by subpar shotblockers. Monroe has had many games where he cannot hit his shots, but hes never had games where he's taken bad shot after bad shot like Jackson did last night. And, i give Greg and every other Piston the criticism that they are do. And, do not appreciate the personal attacks.

man its hard watching this team sometimes. we look really good against top teams but theres times we get beat by bottom teams (sixers, knicks, timberwolves, etc.) we really need to add a scoring 3 in the offseason.

These types of games are what I feared from RJ, the hero ball long 2s or driving with reckless ambition unable to produce.

Clearly too early write him off, but he needs to stop looking to get his first, if he wants to be our PG he needs to distribute more.

Also, Prince should not start for his lack of spotting up like Butler can. Our spacing when Prince goes ISO or god forbid posts up is Josh Smith all over again.

It's not a personal attack... And I started my post by saying that Jackson was terrible and it's fine to point that out. My point was that any time you don't like a player, such as Jackson, you criticize him way more and make it a point to call him out as often as possible but when it's Monroe you are quick to point out every good thing he does and you don't criticize him nearly as much as other players you dislike. That's all I'm saying. Not trying to turn this into a "personal attack." Just something I noticed.

Also, Monroe has had just as bad of games where he destroyed us on both ends of the floor. He will obviously destroy us in different ways but he does do it and just as bad as Jackson did. Monroe gets blocked as much as anyone in the league too. I'm not sure if he ever got 7 blocked attempts but he has been darn close on many occasions. But this is what I mean. You are quick to defend Monroe even though everyone knows how horrible Monroe can be sometimes.

this times a million. The offense dies in the beginning of games with Prince in there. Have Prince off the bench and Butler starting. It sucks those are our only options in the first place but oh well.

whats the gotham city reference about?

From Wikipedia:
Gotham City (/ˈɡɒθəm/ goth-əm) is a fictional American city appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, best known as the home of Batman. Batman's place of residence was first identified as Gotham City in Batman #4 (Winter 1940). New York Times journalist William Safire described Gotham City as "New York below 14th Street, from SoHo to Greenwich Village, the Bowery, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the sinister areas around the base of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges."[1] Batman artist Neal Adams sees the 1940s mobster history of Chicago as the basis for Gotham,[2] while writer/artist Frank Miller has stated that Metropolis is New York in the daytime and Gotham City is New York at night.[3]
