I'm sorry but I have no interest in Ryan Anderson. He hasn't impressed me since he left Orlando. A PF that averages 5 boards a game is not something I want a part of. He also might be worse of a defender than Monroe is. If we're throwing defense and rebounding out the window, there are a half dozen other options that are more intriguing than Ryan Anderson. The collective misrepresentation of him as some superstar stretch 4 on this board blows my mind.
I can almost guarantee we could get the same production from Anthony Tolliver in a starting role. Hell, we could bring back CV to do the same thing.

I wish we could somehow replace Monroe with Karl-Anthony Towns.

Agreeded,I wanted anderson 1-2 yrs ago,but now hes just not worth moose.Hes often injured and hes defense is about the same as moose, also moose is younger with less miles and hasant had any real injurys that have kept him out,I cant even think of any games where he was out more than 2 games in a row.If moose leaves or is sign and traded, then I want a young pf who can play D and keep the defensive players honest.

I am a big Ryan Anderson fan, but he is very very bad on defense. He hustles though and hits the offense glass a lot, but besides being a great shooter, he doesn't have much else to offer. May as well keep Tolliver as he is much cheaper and plays defense. You really have to watch Ryno in full games to understand. There are times when he will completely lose the man he is covering and be lost on defense.
