I don't think Jennings will have much value as an expiring. With the salary cap rising, all teams are going to have the space to sign people. Sure, getting an expiring can get you even more cash, but teams won't be desperate like they would be if they absolutely needed to make an improvement but had zero wiggle room.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

I think most of us are on the same page here... In my mind, if it's a solid offer for Jennings (as an expiring, before he's fully back) sure take it. But I don't see us getting many great offers early for Jennings purely as an expiring while he's still recovering. If it's just scraps or whatever, I think we should keep him and hope he can come back as a 6th man+ OR net us a better trade once he proves he's healthy. No rush either way
