Leonard would not be the same player if he was drafted by anyone else.

The Spurs don't just draft stud players, they develop them!

Look at Green and Leonard! No one thought much of either at the time...look at them now

Don't want Tobias at anything over 10 mil, and he'll get more than that, so I hope we stay away. Would much rather have Middleton, and given his shorter history, he might be attainable at that price or a little more.

With Klay Thompson's father coming out suggesting that the Warriors plan to "go hard" after Kevin Durant next summer, I think the door is certainly open for the Warriors to not max out Green this summer but instead look to sign an trade him to a team offering some cap friendly assets in return.

Curry + Thompson is probably the best selling point out of any team for what Durant will be able to choose from.

Going after Durant doesn't make me think they're any less likely to match Green. Too much of a gamble to let him walk away...their team is Curry, Klay, Green and then everyone else. Bogut and Barnes certainly play important roles but those 3 are the core, and with Lee expiring next season I think if they wanted to go after Durant they'd just not match Barnes in RFA.

Draymond is too much of a beast to let go...16/12/6 in the playoffs, that's no joke. Even if he does benefit heavily from playing with Curry & Klay, winners step up their game in the playoffs and he certainly has.

They'll be able to find a taker for Green if they decide to make a run at Durant.

That's not an obstacle at all, so I don't think this really warrants discussion.

Going to be tough signing any starter for less than Max when you consider that a RFA Max player today will be making almost MLE money by the end of his contract.
