Orlando are still a while away & spending the maximum on Harris might not make that much of a difference. Maybe they'll take the long view and use the money on multiple shooters to complete the young pieces? They tried that last off-season and failed (Frye, Gordon) so it's plausible they take a mulligan on that.
You don't know what your talking about, if you don't believe me go ask the Orlando board. There is absolutely no reason not to match anything thrown at harris, he's got a high ceiling and is only 22. They figure the rest out later as they can exceed the cap to sign him. Only way he goes any place is if he wants too.The Bucks might need shooters but they also need a quality big man and a bench. Giving Middleton the maximum might not be part of the equation. Throw in the uncertainty around Mayo, Illyasova, Dudley etc and it's too much of a fustercluck for anyone to make a definitive statement
This of the three maybe likely . Middleton didn't put it together til the end of the year and more importantly playoffs. This isn't a fluke, middleton is a smart and long player that has been progressing. He's not going to forget how to shoot, he can create his own shot, there's just so much to like about him not to resign him just because "parker and giannis". They can also exceed the cap to resign him and figure rest out later. I don't know if middleton gets the max.The Warriors? Green has one big thing going for him that Harris & Middleton do not: he's arguably the 2nd or 3rd most important player on his team!
He probably gets teh max after this performance, the same as harris and middleton, unless they indicate they want to go else where and the said "else where" can present a decent offer, he'll most likely be mathced.
I believe I've explained my opinion as much as humanly possible so no point going on with it.
I just replied to say I don't care for the "you don't know what you're talking about" bit:
It's MY OPINION! I've explained WHY I think that way. Telling me to go read something elsewhere isn't gonna happen since I read heaps of stuff before arriving at my current opinion
I don't usually post cause:
1 - someone else says what I was gonna say or
2 - I haven't got enough info to form a legit opinion
Obviously if I'm posting about this I've read enough, seen enough, heard enough to post AND not many are talking about Harris.
Green? It's MY OPINION he's no chance of being a Piston this off-season. NONE! To continue posting on it wastes everyone's valuable time when we could be discussing dude's we might have a realistic shot at...and the list begins with Harris & Middleton in MY OPINION
"You don't know what you're talking about"! LMAO
