In other words, they aren't as stupid as our former management was.

This discussion is irrelevant. A pick at number 9 is looking to be reasonably valuable in this draft, with the potential for some pretty decent prospects to be available at that point.

True. Plus I doubt CHA is trying to trade that pick since they need shooters, may could draft Hunter or Booker.
