Jackson stats look great, but they rarely result in W's. I still got him penciled in as our secondary PG if Jennings is healthy.

They resulted in a lot of wins when Monroe was out and we had a stretch 4 in the game which is what the future holds. Not sure if you don't watch the games or if you just have a really bad memory.

Damn man, I hope not.

And of course I watch games. I'm not paying all that money for league pass for nothing( 8-) ). If my memory serves me right, didn't we go like 8-17 with Reggie as our 1? You're impressed with that record man?

I don't know the exact records but I know they were much better without Monroe and that was with guys like Prince, Butler and Tolliver playing close to 30mpg.

Eh, 7-4 with Jackson sans Monroe is still not nearly as impressive as 12-4 with Jennings + DrumRoe. So, while Neptune is exaggerating somewhat, its not really debatable that Jennings at the helm led to more wins in the Post Smith era.

The run with Jennings was mostly shooters being on fire but it doesn't matter because we all know that Jackson is the future.

I just checked RJ and Drummond's stats during that 11 game stretch when Monroe was out...

Jackson
Ppg-21
Rpg-5.7
Apg-10.8

Drummond
Ppg-16.9
Rpg-14.8

Those are without question, all star numbers for Jackson, and Drummond. You add Erson, and hopefully a great pick, and another free agent and those numbers could be even better. Man, the 4 months, from the draft, is going to be almost unbearable this year...

jackson went 7-4 without monroe and way less help. When monroe came back we were under .500

jennings wins 12 out of 16 with way more help. And that automatically means jennings is better then jackson? that automatically means jennings + drumroe was a sure fire? haha man

people forget the team had more weapons. it must've been nice to have a back up pg bailing you out when you struggled during that stretch. not mention the surplus of shooters we had. the surplus of shooters that helped the spacing.

greg cant play defense. greg is overrated. greg isnt worth over 10 million a year. this argument is still occurring around here? haha

Jennings was fun to watch during that span but I still just don't trust him. His game is based on him getting hot and even when he did during that stretch he still would start too chuck up some bad shots. I'll take Reggie 10/10 over him because of his ability to take it inside.

Yeah we gutted our depth after the Jackson trade.

plus reggie has the ability to score in tight situations. you can try and D him up if you want, but he has potential to still score. I couldn't trust that with jennings. Youre right
