:-?

Btw, the Reggie Jackson signing is not really that bad for a whole different reason. Versatility. He can play the 1 & 2 and defend both, and he can score. He doesn't have to be the starting PG full-time, he can play that role in a pinch but having a versatile guard offensively and defensively makes him a good piece. Rebounding...

Hopefully SVG doesn't put a future starting PG or bust expectation on him because it would be a shame. I would love for him to primarily come off the bench or start with another ball-handler depending on the matchup.

That doesn't make any sense... Reggie is less of a 2 than Brandon Jennings.

Jennings is a better shooter from 3
Jennings has a somewhat better handle and plays more in control
Jennings has better vision, but they're equal as passers because Reggie is better at driving and dishing
Reggie probably has better shot selection
Reggie penetrates much better
Reggie finishes at the rim much better and is much stronger physically
Reggie has better chemistry with Andre on oops

If we do run both of them out there together, it's very likely with switched roles -- Reggie is more suited to guard the 2 because he's longer and stronger, while Jennings is more suited to play the 2 offensively because he's a credible spot-up threat. They'll just switch on defense, but Reggie will be the PG and initiate the offense the vast majority of the time when they're both on the floor.

When I say Reggie at the 2, I'm primarily talking about the position he'll defend.

On offense it doesn't matter really.

Yes, you'd hope they could effectively bring the benefit of dual playmaking guards without giving up too much on the defensive side. Reggie has the length to effectively defend most 2s, but he needs to get stronger and improve his fundamentals. It's seems like more of a situational pairing, and probably not the norm.
