Also, Davis will be a superstar tearing this league apart. Very similar to young KG with similar skill-sets and physical frame. I personally think his ceiling will be limitless once he adds a reliable 3 point game to his arsenal. Making 2 or 3 three balls a game will increase his scoring outlook significantly.

Dre's ceiling is more like Moses Malone but without the offensive polish of a turnaround jumper nor post play.

Curry is 28

Oh yeah, I forgot about the age thing. Otherwise they'd be an easy lock.

Well take Philly off any of these lists with Embiid set to miss another season. Unless you like Okafor/Noel/Saric better I guess.

Wow, people legitimately believe Drummond has a higher ceiling than Anthony Davis. Drummond is entering his 4th season in the league, he's not a 19 year old rookie just scratching the surface anymore.

Some of you guys don't know how talented Davis is...when it's all said and done he'll go down as one of the top 5 greatest PFs of all time imo. His feel for the game far exceeds Dre's, and I say this as someone who believes Drummond will be a multiple time all star. Things just come easy to him; look at how quickly he developed his jumper and his overall offensive game.

On the flipside, what would happen to the Warriors if they made this trade? What would they look like next season? Interesting to ponder. Would they make it out of the first round? Would they get to the finals again?

they probably not even make the PO

Are you **** joking? A Curry, "The best shooter the league has ever known," and Drummond pick 'n roll is a nightmare with no answer, unless you want to commit 4 players to defending Drummond and Curry alone.

Dear Fischella,

I like the Dallas Mavs (particularly Coach Carlisle), and I usually wish them well, but you *by yourself* are enough to make me want them to lose. You are the one (as in single, solitary, ONLY) fan of another franchise that consistently posts negative things about the Pistons in our forum. Yeah, you present it as "realism", but we have our own pessimistic fans to do that, we don't need you. You offer nothing and your predictions aren't any more accurate than anyone else. How did that "Dallas with 25 more wins than Detroit" thing from last year work out?

I hope Dallas sucks, and I hope you enjoy it.

I like the direction of this team but people need to get their act together. Claiming Drummonds ceiling is anywhere near Davis is obviously just silly, Jackson surprised me with his game last season but with that $80M contract his value is limited and Stanley might turn into something really good but right now he's a mid lottery pick with zero NBA experience. This team has a pretty good shot at making the playoffs this year and to further improve in the future but come on...

From PoPs list:

Yes

MIN- KAT, Wiggins, Lavine
NO- Davis, Holiday, Evans (Davis is a superstar)
GSW- Thompson, Barnes, Green
Hou- Harden, Motiejunas, Jones (Harden is a superstar)
SAC- Cousins, Mclemore, WCS (Cousins is the prize)
WAS- Wall, Beal, Porter (Wall is a top PG)

I'd consider it

MIL- Giannis, Parker, Moose
PHIL- Noel, Embiid, Okafor

Fischella is a troll and I don't know how he hasn't been banned.

Enjoy that one championship btw, it'll be nice to tell your grandkids about that one time Dallas won it all.

Cant really compare Drummond and Davis fairly yet because Davis got his development started years before Drummond.

in college he was the featured player for the best one and done development coach in ncaa who caters his teams to Freshman. Drummond only had Calhoun for half the year for a program that caters to upper classmen.

Davis then started his entire rookie year while Drummond came off the bench.

When Dre finally got to start second year, he was relegated to the utility player role because they put two other veteran bigs with him in Monroe and Smith who were made primary options. Davis second year was surrounded by perimeter talent like Gordon, Evans, Ryan Anderson and was given the green light to be the man in the middle. By his third year he was already to the phase of full fledged go to guy, while Drummond was just getting plays run for him for the first time. So in development terms, last year for Drummonds was like the equivalent of Davis rookie year.

Now that he finally has a team catered to him i expect we will see a similar type season to Davis second year, and it will likely continue that way til both get to their primes.

Ultimately it doesnt matter who got started first because eventually both will be in their prime and be as good as they are gonna get. That is when to compare them, and some may disagree but i absolutely believe Drummond will be as good as him by the time both are fully developed.

If our guys were nearly as good as people make them out to be here sometimes, we would become a dynasty.
