Agreed. Emphasize the hard work blue-collar and grittiness of Detroit. It'd fit with the identity and the community which Gores and Co keep harping about anyways. Time to man up and show it.

Also double agreed on a font change. The font we have now are god-awful. It's literally stuck in the past.

i'd be down for that. I'd like something that symbolizes the blue collar aspect of Detroit and the automotive side. Right now the logo has nothing unique or symbolic of detroit.

i can't believe they probably paid some company 100,000 of dollars to come up with that piece of sh* design. Looks like a drew league jersey

If we do bring the horse, that also needs to be updated to fit the more modern times, since that font is awful as well.

Something that fits a modern color scheme and clean, suave font on top of a horse redesign would be fantastic.

I definitely agree 100%. It does need to be modernized, but I feel like its an excellent base.
And it is original too. Rather then being a team with the basketball like other teams have (eg Nets)

I'll admit that's better than it looks in the leaked Style guide. I heard/read that the color is silver, not gray. I was still hoping that it would have been the old red alternate, but this isn't as bad as it first looked. At least it doesn't have sleeves like they ruined the Motor City one with last year.

The grey alt reminds me of the Georgetown jersey's and I actually like it..
I wish they'd do a revamp around that dark/navy blue and white with the grey as an alt..
And change the damn font already lol

I'm really not a fan of our royal blue jerseys. I think those are some of the ugliest in bball tbh.

Really like this fan concept from Detroit Bad Boys a few years back

The hood ornament idea is pretty creative and the dark navy color looks great. As someone suggested subtle hints of cream could be added to the jersey as well for accent. Dark Navy/Cream would look really nice if the cream was barely noticeable

A clean white with dark navy accents would also be a sharp home jersey

What is Gores waiting for?

I actually quite like that! But I'd like to see red instead of orange, seems to stick with our roots a little more!

No other changes for next year regarding font or logos or anything. I agree with others I'm not a fan of the "D inside the P" (hold your jokes) logo currently on the shorts. I'd love to see this re-colored one from the teal era take its place:

That's definitely my favorite. I wouldn't even mind a darker red and a grey/silver instead of white.
