I swear it's exactly the story I heard last season except now we don't have Smith to cry about.

Amen!

The Drummond hate is ludicrous. He was awesome in the first preseason game but as soon as he has a bad PRESEASON game (as did everyone else on the team) then he is torn to shreds by the bipolar fanbase. Insane...

I just hate how he looks lazy/lackadaisical at times. He looked like that a little in his first pre season game, alot the 2nd imo. He does it in the Regular season last year too. I'm not sure if that's him, maybe he isn't playing like that, but it sure looks like it at times. It's his fourth year, I can't keep trying to make excuses for him especially on something as simple as effort. I have all the hope in the world Drummond worl he become the 17+ppg 16+ Rebound 2+ blocks a game Center I believe he can. I just hate seeing the lackadaisical effort. I hope that gets fixed. 4th year.

He is avg 15/10 on 52% fg in the 2 games too. You would think he was putting up 7/6 games on 35% fg by some of the reactions.

Well alot of that is because drummond is capable of a whole lot more and if he had the drive or ever gets it, he could average 25/18 or some other crazy number.

Point is though a team is just that a team. I like all of our current pieces to grow.

When even SVG is calling out Drummond's effort level, you have to listen instead of writing it off as "hate"

It all counts. If a C is playing great defense and avg 2 rebs its not going to matter much. Cant write off the importance of a dominant rebounder to a defense. Its all connected.

He also took blame for it with the scheme though . If players are unsure of what to do it can appear they arent giving effort physically, when its really just confusion mentally. Stan will get it worked out though, I'm not worried.
