If he starts top 5, if he doesn't then top 10. Overall he will have an excellent career.

I keep waiting for him to have a bad game, but he continues to impress. I expected him to be a good complimentary piece and mostly earn playing time with his defense, but he's asserting himself as an offensive focal point.

I was surprised to see he is leading all rookies in minutes and points. I thought with the depth on this team that the lack of PT and FGAs would stop him from winning ROY, but not the case at all right now. Though I do expect that to change in the real season, I dont think Stan is going to hold him back.

SVG doesn't gift minutes to anyone. Rookies won't play unless they earn their minutes. But it's not like we have an incumbent player at Stanimals position, or any other player who is clearly superior. Morris can obviously make the best claim, but by design he is expected to split minutes at PF leaving that SF slot wide open for Stan to grab 24-32 mpg,
The only other possible obstacle would be Meeks playing so well go small for stretches with KCP at the 3, but so far Stan is outplaying Meeks as well and we're clearly a better defensive team if we don't go that rout.
What you can expect is that he'll have a short leash and quickly wind up on the bench if he's dogging it, but that doesn't seem particularly in his character. He may also get a quick yank if he starts blowing assignments, but I'd expect Stan to put him right back in after a little coaching opportunity.
The kid is gonna see play and plenty of it.

you should add "Lebron-esq", just to give you a idea of the crazy optimism in the preseason.

Eh, the advantage of being level headed is that, while you don't get the dizzying hights when a couple of summer league or exhibition games go bad, is that you don't freak out when there's a couple of bad exhibition games in a row either.
Right now it looks like he's better coming off the bench for now.
