Central Division is the best in the NBA

We have 2 players who would be viable starters on good teams, and maybe one bench player who would see large minutes on a good teams' bench with how they're playing currently. Our other 3 starters are guys I'd like a lot more if they weren't starters. KCP might be some good team's 5th starter, I suppose, but he's supposed to be our second or third best player depending on the kind of night Jackson has.

This team has a vision, it has fit, it has coaching. Its got all the things that might make it a better team than it appears to be on paper. Its a team that could well be greater than the sum of its parts. But the sum of its parts- well, it ain't much compared to most other teams. Its biggest weakness is a relative lack of depth and quality players. I don't see why its a shocking thought to anyone that in a division like this (a tough as nails division), that we might have the least talented roster.

Look back at the team we had on paper in 2001, the first year we won 50 games. I think you'll find that that team outplayed teams that were greater than it "on paper" too. I hope for the same with this group, though 50 wins probably isn't realistic since that team had respectable depth.
