Few days off before we play Indy... I predicted a loss but I'm thinking it could go either way. Hoping i'm wrong, but I'm still with a L right before they head out on the road.

3-0 in October
11-4 in November? :)

Indy is going to be desperate for a win... as they're 0-2 right now... We'll have to bring our A game for sure.

RPG

Detroit: 54.3 (1st)
Indiana: 39 (28th)

We're grabbing 17 ORPG while only giving up 6. Granted that's largely because we have laid enough bricks to build a new training facility, but Drummond should be able to dominate Mahinmi inside. I'm curious to see how well Morris is able to match up with PG. George has been doing a great job of getting to the line and his all around game is still there with the defense, rebounding and playmaking but he's been struggling mightely with his shot since returning. I wanna see us be physical with him - don't allow him to get comfortable. We don't wanna be the team that he breaks out against.

Both teams are also attempting over 25 3's a game, so we need to make sure we are contesting those shots and then pushing the ball back up the floor off of misses and not allowing Indy to set their D.

**** happens, but we should definitely win this game. Outside of PG there is nobody on that roster that really scares me.

RJ
KCP
SJ
Morris
Dre/Baynes

Is the long term core...

After this season (where we'll make the playoffs) I suspect SVG will bring in vets that can fill the roles he wants as we ascend.

Tolliver, Meeks, Blake - the one thing they have in common besides the 3 ball is being undervalued as professionals.

It's one thing to TELL the young dudes how a professional behaves, trains, eats etc - completely different to have living breathing examples on the roster to SHOW them.

I doubt that changes as SVG moves on to years 3 & 4 of his tenure

Drummond should go off on Tuesday against Indy. They have no one up front to stop him, 4-0!!!

1.)Atlanta-W
2.)Utah-W
3.)Chicago-W
4.)Indiana-L
5.)Phoenix-W
6.)Portland-W
7.)Golden State-
8.)Sacramento-
9.)Clippers-
10.)Lakers-

I said 7-3 to start the season and I'm sticking with that. If they can pull it off, it would be an incredible start to the season and set them up nicely moving forward with only really a 4 game West road trip in late January to worry about.
