Pretty simple, it seems like almost every game I've seen this year someone who has come in struggling prior to playing the Pistons has found religion against us and had a big game. I won't count the first two games of the season, but starting with game 3:
Chicago- Mirotic had been struggling and he really got it going against us.
Indiana- George Hill had been ass until he had an above average game. Not sure how Stuckey had been playing prior but he also went nuts.
Phoenix- nobody really went off beyond what they're normally capable of this game.
Portland- Myers Leonard had been shooting poorly before, but channeled prime Dirk this game. And Crabbe went vintage Microwave Vinny Johnson.
Golden State- they're just Golden State. we actually fared pretty well against their barrage.
Sacramento- as Blaha was uttering the words of how Rudy Gay had been struggling this season, Gay was releasing an elbow jumper right in Marcus Morris' face which would start a steady diet of daggers.
LAC- seriously? Jamal Crawford really just went for near 40 tho?
LAL- can't say any one person had an uncharacteristically crazy game. But had we swept the LA series like we should have we'd be first in the East right now. So those two losses hurt.
Cleveland- J.R. Smith came in averaging 6 points. But he commenced to dropping bombs on us.
Other players have had good games on us, but these are just specifically guys who came into the game struggling. What about the Pistons are they finding easy to get off the schneid? Is anyone on Minny struggling? If so, watch out for them.

You have good games and you have bad games. It's about matchups and momentum. We were playing poorly on the road and we beat the Cavs. Imagine winning against the Lakers and losing to the Cavs. Same idea. It's about who wants it more and prior play has a role in your desire to win. Drummond hasn't had a bad game yet.

I agree for the most part but these 2 are reaching and don't really make sense.
-Mirotic's previous games were actually better in less minutes.
-George Hill's previous games were pretty much equal to the one he had against us, outside of turnovers.
I say Kevin Martin goes off against us, maybe Rubio.

Actually, having unknowns and slump-ridden guys occasionally go off on you is the sign of good advanced scouting and coaching -- and perhaps a sign of poor in-game adjustments.
I'm sure SVG and his staff let the team know who to look out for, and if someone that's not been contributing suddenly does, well, it just means the game plan didn't work as expected. Listen to the Clipper fans rant about how bad Jamaal Crawford is, for example. He torched us, but had been awful, so we probably game planned to let him shoot. Didn't work out, but so be it.

meh our defense has been pretty good all year. Its not like scrubs are circling us on the schedule like we are the 6ers or something.
Random scrubs going off on the Pistons has been a tradition going back to the Goin to Work teams lol. It just happens to us alot for some reason.
I did think Kevin Martin was going to be that guy tonight though and glad it didn't happen.

So the answer to the question is Nene Hilario. He channeled his prime Denver days.
