BTW, what's you guy's impression of D'angelo Russell?

Watching Kobe play was hard. He is horrible now good god.

D'angelo Russell was ok on offense but should be more aggressive. He disappears a lot. Him and Clarkson have some work to do on the defensive side Reggie was going anywhere he wanted last night and so was KCP.

Yeah, Kobe is a shell of a shell of himself right now. It's more or less the consensus on the Laker board that Russell/Clarkson/Randle won't succeed until Kobe is gone and/or Scott has been fired.

Russell could be more aggressive if our idiot coach didn't treat him like crap. He isn't allowed to do anything outside of the set offense (except in transition). He got benched in one game for shooting a pull-up 3 on a play, while Kobe was bricking all of his stupid, low-percentage shots and got to stay in. His defense isn't great yet, but it's actually better than we thought it would be. Clarkson is a much, much, much worse defender than Russell. He dies on the PnR.

About your Pistons: Between Reggie Jackson, KCP, and Andre Drummond, you've got a really nice young core. You've got a wonderful coach too.

I think Russell will be fine but, like you said, Kobe and Scott are holding everyone back. You guys need to fire Scott because he's a bone-headed coach who tries to be overly macho and tough, which leads to him not playing young players or looking at advanced stats and stuff like that. He is ironically a bad coach for winning AND for tanking. Kobe compounds the issue because he is still a focal point of the offense. He honestly needs to play 20 minutes a game and lessen his role, kind of like how KG is with the Wolves. With that said, I think you guys have some good young players with Russell, Clarkson, and Randle. I would just tank the next couple of years if I were you guys. It sucks for the fans (Pistons did it for the past half decade :( ) but it pays off in the end. It got us Drummond, KCP, Knight (traded for Jennings), and now Johnson. It also got us Monroe, who is a quality player, but we botched that situation. With a couple of good picks, a good trade, and a good signing you guys could be back on the way up.

Yes and no

Its 2 years too late to be having this , but i can appreciate it. Then again i am over here on the Pistons. The Lakers need to get their FO straighten out. Do you have any references in regards to whats been going on? Are the siblings still feuding?

D'Angelo Russel:

Honestly i was on his wagon. I thought the laker made a good pick and was expecting another breakout like lillard had. Unfortunately Russell wasn't as NBA ready as i had thought. Watching him you can tell he's a rookie PG. Things haven't slowed for him. He's just not meeting expectations however the skillset is there and those expectations may have been zealous. I would say seeing okafor, zingas and Mudiay perform, LA probably want a redo, however its really really early. Doesn't help LA FO seems to have no f* clue what they doing.
