exactly. Batum is better than anyone we have, just goes to show that the SF position is the most important position in basketball and we don't have a true 3 on this team. they also have a semblance of a bench and some consistent shooting

Charlotte altered their rotation a bit to ensure their starters were fresh. The Hornets have such a deep team they can afford to do that while still creating separation with their second unit.

They defended differently too with their forwards from the opposite corner helping into the lane, while also challenging every pick and roll not involving Drummond. Their mobility at those positions just made it a bad matchup for Detroit.

Charlotte's good this year, even better without Jefferson so I wouldn't take his absence as a sign of weakness. Losing to them on the road on the backend of a b2b isn't the worst thing.

If there's a hidden blessing here it's that at least we know Maker is okay. Thought he might have died there for a while. Glad you're doing okay Maker. Sorry the boys disappointed you. You should consider not taking this so much to heart, and taking the longer view.

ya i've been fine man. it's just i love the pistons so much and this futility the past 7 years really gets to me

I hear that, but sitting here at 12-10 is still a lot better than what we've had to endure for most of that time. It feels like we're moving in the right direction, although not as fast as I'd like. More maturity and depth needed before the real payoff.

Well this is embarrassing. I accept the loss, but by 20? Come the **** on, Pistons.

Bullcrap, expect the part about their bench being solid.

I missed this game, but damn! Reggie and Drummond must have messed with some pretty women before the game or something. Stay focused during freaking game nights!

Dave, the team you temporarily abandoned is playing some pretty good ball on both ends. This isn't going to get Cho fired...

Mostly beating bad teams and mostly losing to good ones. I'm sure Hornet's fans are expecting them to shoot like Golden State all season but I have my doubts...

Nobody will get fired anyway they settle for mediocrity.
