Rip Hamilton for me. We could use his scoring, especially off the ball.

I briefly considered the same, but I don't think Jackson is the right kind of point guard that Rip needs. Rip was very much a system player, and this group doesn't have a system like the 00s crew did.
Case in point: his game utterly collapsed when we dealt Billups.

I voted Rip. I considered Sheed, but we don't have enough veteran leadership for that to work.

No question Sheed, SVG would turn him into a MONSTER!
2016 Pistons All Time Fantasy League Champ!

I'd like to give young Darko one last shot to develop! Results might be extremely different with SVG as head coach instead of Larry Brown

Sheed is that one player that "could've been" if he had Kobe's work ethic to be a superstar IMO. His size and athleticism with shooting don't come around often.
So I take Sheed over all.

Sheed, and no disrespect to the rest of the '04 squad, but easily.
Larry Brown said the Pistons knew what they were getting offensively when they traded for Sheed, but they had no idea what a force he was on the defensive end as well. The list of true inside / outside stretch 4's who were also impact defensive players is basically him and KG, and that's it. A prime Sheed would make this team on both ends of the floor.

It is really sad, but I can understand any selection except for Big Ben. Having a defender like Prince could come in hand and it would increase our defensive versatility, he could also slide up to PF at times like people have suggested with Morris or Johnson. Rip could add another level to our half court offense. Sometimes we could pull him out and run the high P&r with Jackson/Drummond and then other times we could have Rip coming off picks, it's another dimension. Chauncey, sure, he can shoot the 3ball well and maybe could pair up with Jackson in the backcourt. We would have a pair of nice distributors!
I would definitely go with Rasheed. It would force Ilyasova to the bench which would make our 2nd unit even better once Jennings and Meeks come back. Then we would have another guy capable of posting up or running a P&p with Jackson. With SVG as the HC let's just hope for the best case scenario with his attitude. I mean, Sheed pushes us way up in the East. He'd be a total game changer.

Clockwork AKA Body AKA Ben Wallace
The team's on again off again intermittent defensive focus would be quickly corrected by this big dog. From mental lapses to league leading defense.

Carlos Delfino.
Okay, sort of joking. But yeah, I voted Sheed like most everybody else. Self-explanatory. Billups was my 2nd choice, he's big enough to play alongside Reggie, hit the three reliably and he provided leadership (Sheed's leadership too is underrated IMO, this team could use a guy like Sheed to light a fire under them when the going gets tough).
Prince would be nice depth and god knows this team needs depth but I feel like his talent/skill-set could be gotten a lot easier than others on this list. I didn't consider Rip at all b/c he didn't shoot the three that well. I don't think he'd play in a SVG system well at all, basically like JJ Redick without long range. Morris is filling that mid-range game decently enough. Big Ben would be awesome but I don't see anyway he and Dre could play together.
