A lot of it is going to depend on seeding matchup, but as of right now I'd be shocked if we don't make the playoffs. It would take a big injury to a key player (Dre or Morris). That said, I think there are 3 or 4 EC playoff teams we would beat in the first round, and there are 3 or 4 teams we would lose to in the first round so its all going to depend on matchup. If we got lucky into two favorable matchup (and avoid Cleveland till the EC Finals) than its certainly feasible we could get there. No one out side of Cleveland has really separated themselves this season.

We can play with anybody in the east outside of healthy Cleveland IMO. So we'd need to avoid the 8th seed. I'd LOVE a play-off match up with Chicago because its been great basketball.

I went with 1st round, but it really depends on the matchup. I think we could definitely steal a round if we matchup against the right time.
Honestly just hope we make the playoffs. IDC what happens after that lol

Our record is about what I expected it to be, but I did not count on the East being as competitive as it is. Before the season started I would have thought 40-42 wins would be enough to make the post-season, but now it's looking closer to 46. I still think the East will come back down to earth a little bit as more teams make their West coast trips, but no question the West has become a bit top heavy.
As for how we finish... no clue. I still think a lot is hinging on how well Jennings/Meeks are able to play and how the seedings lineup. If we finish with 46 wins but have to play the Cavs in the 1st round that is not an ideal scenario. But could we upset a 4 seed? Absolutely. Unfortunately 2 wins could be the difference between 10th and HCA due to how tightly bunched everybody is.

Usually teams need to go through growing pains and lose their 1st time out, but so much of the East is on that same learning-to-win trajectory that outside of 1 or 2 teams I dunno our lack of experience is going to be that big of a factor.

If I had to guess I'd say 2nd round.

I think we CAN make the finals. If we can somehow avoid the cavs andhave the Bulls/Hawks beat Cleveland in round 2.

If we play a 4th seed that would mean we'd be a 5th seed, so that's not much of an upset. Hell to me, the way things are so even, the only upset would be beating Cleveland.

Since I had to make a pick, it was make the playoffs. At this point that's the goal. If they go further it's gravy. The Pistons are a young team with some upside delayed. Jennings is coming back, Dre, KCP and Stanley are developing, and hopefully Meeks can contribute something after the AS break. The current record is kind of impressive in light of this. If they can mostly stay healthy, they can be dangerous. This season has been much more fun than recent ones. (captain obvious)
