I hope in the offseason, we solve our shooting and bigman problem. Either tolliver o r sova got to go

i strongly disagree. While Illy hasn't been great, his problem is consistency. The same problem SJ has. Mook will get owned by some PF's , and illy brings length. I'd rather rely on a NBA vet to get it together than to count on a rookie to become consistent

BJ isn't playing because he's not up par yet defensively. Keep in mind SVG see's these guys practice. its a little concerning that BJ has gone through practices and hasn't looked that much better than a 35 year old steve blake per SVG who indicated Jennings is competing with him for minutes

you guys need to look at much more than offensive stats

Offense is the biggest determiner of this teams success, not defense. Their defensive efficiency is close to the same in wins & losses (98 in wins, 103 in losses. Their offensive efficiency is drastically different (107 in wins, 91 in losses).

If Jennings can help keep our offense closer to the 107 mark more consistently then he should be playing. When we play good offense our defense is usually good as by-product too. We can get set more often, we make them work on defense so it makes it easier on our defense, guys are more motivated to defend when their having fun on offense, and when you're scoring more you have a bigger margin for error on defense so you can gamble more, leading to more transition points and it all adds up to a winning formula. When we don't play good offense, we make it even harder on our defense and compound it by not scoring as well. That's not a formula for sustained success. That's just wasted energy.

An extra playmaker/scorer is exactly what this team needs right now. Stan even acknowledged it yesterday saying better ball movement on offense is the solution to all the problems on both ends. Yet he refuses to play arguably our best passer/playmaker.

The difference between a good and bad defender ,other than technique, is effort. I believe SVG even stated this. While pistonr has a point, Effort is a large part of it.
